Hopefully, a lot less confusion, at least when it comes to the Annapolis Chorale.
After years of questions about whether the vocal ensemble would be performing at events it produces for other groups, like the Washington Symphonic Brass, chorale officials have created a new umbrella organization that they hope will clear up any misconceptions.
Live Arts Maryland became a reality a few days ago, after 18 months of study and consultations. Its flagship ensemble will be the chorale, and sister groups will include the Annapolis Youth Chorus, the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra and the symphonic brass.
